Hi my name is Viviana.

 

My love for photography started when I was just a little girl with a disposable camera in hand. Initially, in college I studied film photography but decided to prioritize my masters degree in Interior Architecture. I never stopped photographing and my camera never left my side. 

 

In design many aspects of photography came into play. Lighting conditions, emphasis, balance and composition. Even the story telling side of photography presented an important role in designing interior spaces for people. Design and photography, for me go hand in hand and I've been able to intertwine and apply both of these passions within one another.

 

In 2018 I began my journey into motherhood, for the very first time. I saw my birth experience as a sacred passage for human life and a monumental milestone as a woman. From this experience Oak & Palm also emerged.

 

As I continued listening to this deep call, I discovered many passions that separately, in many ways intertwine. In 2021 I began the process of certification to become a Birthing from Within childbirth educator and since then I have mentored many parents in their preparation to parenthood. Alongside motherhood and birth work, I have also given birth to a Waldorf inspired parent child program where I guide many families into wholesome living and into an education that leads with the heart, connecting us all to our true nature and to mother earth. I am in the process of  obtaining certification as a Waldorf early childhood teacher.

As I continue in this journey, I am so excited for the future and to the many families who cross this path and chose to share their journey with me. It is truly an honor to be able to do this work, to inspire, to connect and to live intentionally. Thank you for being here.
