Pregnancy
The journey of becoming a mother is special and profound. The evolution of maiden to mother is unique to each person and should be captured intimately and honest to the nature of each mom to be. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey and being able to look back at the resilience of our bodies is a gift not only to our children but to every mother.

Birth
The birth of your baby will be one of the most fulfilling events of your life. Birth is sacred. The space a mother chooses to birth in is sacred. It should be honored, respected and worshiped. Documentary photography attempts to encapsulate the purity and beauty of labor, birth and first hours earth side.
• On call starting at 30 weeks of pregnancy.
• Intimate moments of childbirth
• Birth of your beautiful baby
• 2 Hours postpartum connection with your baby, including skin to skin and first breastfeeding.
First moments with dad and relatives present.
• 2 Hours the next day to include other family members and New born-Mama session.

FAQ
1. Does Oak & Palm provide wardrobe and/or accessories and props?
No, the unique aspect of each photograph is that you bring your personal belongings and your favorite wear. However, I can provide you with recommendations.
2. What does a woman or maternity session feel like?
I ask that you come a few minutes early so we can have a couple minutes to settle in and find ways to relax. I like to engage in conversations and get to know you while we shoot. This will help for the photographs to be authentic and that you can show yourself in a comfortable and relaxed way.
3. How are your Birth sessions different?
Firstly, I block out my calendar a few weeks before your "due date" and I am on call as we wait for the arrival of your baby. I do not engage much with you unless discussed previously as I am there to document this moment for you to look back to and if you decide to take my Birthing From Within courses to prepare you for birth you know exactly how i will hold the integrity not only of the photographs but of your birth space. If you don't participate in my prenatal courses its ok, we do go over your preferences before the session.
4. Are you a doula?
No, but I am a Birthing from Within certified mentor. My role in your birth is to be a birth keeper with my camera and support you with my silent prescence.
